First Saturday Seminar: PFAS PFAS PFAS

May 1, 2021 9am-11am EST

Cape Fear River Watch (CFRW) is hosting a special “First Saturday Seminar” this Saturday beginning at 9 am Eastern on ZOOM, and FB Live.  We usually have just one guest, but with an issue as enormous as our PFAS contamination crisis, we thought we would invite a few more. We are hosting esteemed toxicologist, Dr. Jaimie DeWitt, Co-director of NC Black Alliance La’Meshia Whittington, Haw Riverkeeper Emily Sutton, Clean Cape Fear Co-founder Emily Donovan, and GenX the Film, Filmmaker Elijah Yetter-Bowman.

Dana Sargent from CFRW, will be hosting this event, and as you know, CFRW has been actively engaged in this work so we will provide our insight and perspective in the opening segment.   It would be wonderful for those of you also working on this issue to potentially provide your own insight or announcements during the Q and A!

Presentation 9 am – 10 am
Q and A – for as long as folks like

Registration is required: Link HERE to register.
