Emma Hepworth: Emma is a PhD student in the Toxicology Program. She works in Dr. Jeff Yoder’s (Project 2) lab which studies how environmental contaminants affect the innate immune system. More specifically, Emma’s interested in determining how PFAS affect neutrophil function.
Violet Resh: Violet is a first year Toxicology Master’s student at NCSU. She’ll be working under the mentorship of Dr. Jeff Yoder (Project 2) to evaluate the impact of environmental contaminants on the immune system.
Nate Wiecha: Nate is a fourth-year Statistics PhD student. He works in Jane Hoppin‘s (Project 1) lab on evaluating associations between PFAS and health outcomes, and evaluating and developing statistical methods for analyzing mixtures of exposures such as PFAS.
Julia Zhang: Julia is a Master’s degree student in the Statistics Program at NC State! I’ll be working with Dr. Emily Griffith as part of the Data Analysis and Management Core (DMAC).
