PFAS Class Action Settlement for $1B is approved in Federal Court

A federal court in South Carolina approved a $1.18 billion settlement over drinking water contaminated by PFAS. The terms of the settlement includes Chemours and other manufactures of PFAS and seeks to have these chemical companies cover the costs related to remediating public water systems that have been polluted by PFAS chemicals and testing for water systems at risk for PFAS contamination.
