Jamie DeWitt (Project 2) and Erin Baker (CAPTURE) will be keynote speakers at the Emerging Contaminants Workshop 2024: Pollution & Health in Melbourne, Australia in August. The Emerging Contaminants Workshop (ECW) is an annual event hosted by the Australian Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants (ALEC) at the University of Melbourne. The aim of the workshop is to bring together leading experts, researchers, industry professionals and policymakers to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in addressing pollution and its impact on human health and the environment. International keynote speakers will lead the program, and will be joined by local academics, policy makers and industry professionals. The focus of this year’s workshop will be ‘Pollution & Health’, with a particular focus on the impact of emerging/novel pollutants.
