Hannah Starnes

My name is Hannah Starnes and I am a third year PhD student in the Toxicology Program, working in Dr. Scott Belcher’s lab. My primary research interest is understanding the ways in which environmental pollution can impact human and wildlife health. Currently, my research is focused on understanding the binding properties of PFAS to different proteins, both in humans and across species, to better understand PFAS absorption and distribution in the body. In my spare time, I love playing soccer and running.
