Scott Belcher (Project 3 co-Leader), Jamie DeWitt (Research Translation Coordinator and Project 2 Co-Leader), and Krystal Taylor (Trainee in Jamie DeWitt’s lab) participated in an education event through UNC Chapel Hill’s IDEA Learners (https://ie.unc.edu/cpes/idea-learners/) program, a teacher professional development program. The program is using PFAS as examples of teaching across the curriculum and Jamie DeWiit’s lab was available to teachers and participants for Q&A. Jamie has previously participated in the first event for teacher participants back in March where she spoke about our work with PFAS.
